Dr Matt Edgeworth

Matt studied for a BA degree (1987) and a PhD (1992) in Archaeology and Anthropology at the University of Durham.  He edited the volume on Ethnographies of Archaeological Practice(Altamira 2006) and wrote the book Fluid Pasts: Archaeology of Flow (2011). More recently he has worked for University of Leicester, English Heritage, MOLA-Headland Infrastructure andUniversity of Cambridge. He is on the editorial boards of The Journal of Contemporary Archaeology and Norwegian Archaeological Review. Research interests include archaeology of rivers, urban stratigraphy, ecological archaeology, and archaeological approaches to the Anthropocene.
